Checked out this cool brewery in Fremont. It may be pretty small but it has big time flavors in the beers they got here. Outlander is a lot more low key than the places around this. A lot of crazy frat bars and that kind of stuff around it. Those wanting some quality drinks can instead come here and get some handcrafted good stuff. Basically this brewery is in an old house. It's got a cozy kind of charm to it. This is unlike many of the bars around here that are full of loud party animals it seems. Come here instead and have some craft beers. It's about $8 a pint. That's kind of a lot, but typical for a local microbrewery like this. Best one of these we had was the Mt. Hood IPA. This was lightly hoppy without being too much. Also they have added more food. There's the basics like chips as well as pretzels. Good place to get craft beers. It's closed Mondays. They have added more to the food menu so try the new offerings and other things.

Very eclectic selection of beers and more - lagers, pale ales, seltzers. Ambiance is simple but unique. Inside an older house, there are multiple rooms to hang out in as well as a nice deck with a sunny exposure.

The new owners transformed this brewery! The food and tap are exceptional. I'll be coming back! There's also board games too!

Just had a terrific summer evening at this little hidden gem of a place! Sipping on specialty brews listening to a hot little band play out back. I think my beer was called Fresh Forage. Refreshing drink. They also have food you can order and indoor seating. Cozy spot.

While in Fremont, we saw this old house on the main drag in the middle of all other pubs and diners. We popped in and the modest bar in the back room was well stocked with drafts. Being out of towners, we asked which ones were local and the guy said, "Well, these were made in the basement here." . Cannot get more local than that!! I had the Plum Juicy IPA and it was very good.

Stumbled upon Outlander on a Friday and discovered that it was open mic night. Great atmosphere and lots of fun hearing live music. Love that it's a house converted to a brewery.

Outstanding little brewery!! Came here on a Saturday they had a DJ playing music and they have an outside patio area as well. They didn't have the biggest selection of beers (all local) but the few they did have were phenomenal. The salmon sandwich is perfect as a light lunch or dinner item.

I don't always like the taste of beer but got the Biggus Dickus drink, which was beer aged in a white wine barrel. It was incredible! It tasted like the best of both worlds with some light citrus thrown in. It's 12.5% ABV though so watch out! It hits ya. They've got inside and outside seating - the outside was this cute little back patio, but best for groups of 1-3 unless you want to stand.
